Gourmet Dried was born from a simple but powerful conviction: that the finest dried foods in the world — the ones that genuinely transform a dish, a gift or a moment — deserve to be found easily, anywhere in the UK.
Founded in 2025 in Essex, we began with a small but carefully chosen selection of premium dried fruits, nuts, spices and artisan ingredients. Each product was sourced directly from producers we had researched, tasted and trusted — people who take as much pride in their craft as we do in sharing it.
Essex gave us our roots: a county with a long tradition of food markets, farm shops and a genuine appetite for quality. From here, we look outward — to the almond groves of Sicily, the vanilla plantations of Madagascar, the spice routes of the Middle East — and bring the best of those places directly to your door.
We are still a young brand, but our standards are not. Every product on our shelves has earned its place. Every producer behind it has been chosen because they are genuinely exceptional — and because they deserve to be known.

Range expanded to include rare dried mushrooms, heritage grain flours and single-origin spice blends from three continents.
Online shop launched with full UK delivery. Gourmet Dried begins building direct relationships with artisan producers worldwide.

Our mission is straightforward: to find the most exceptional dried foods on the planet and make them available to anyone in the UK who cares about quality. Not just the obvious choices, but the ones that surprise — the Medjool dates from a Jordanian cooperative, the hand-harvested porcini from the Apennine forests, the single-origin cacao nibs from a Peruvian family farm.
We believe that dried foods are one of the most underrated categories in the premium food world. Preserved at the peak of their flavour, they carry the character of their origin in concentrated form. A great dried fig from Turkey tastes of the Aegean sun. A properly dried mushroom from Piedmont carries the forest floor in every gram.
